THE KSD PROCESS
I am very process-driven. Being organised helps to keep your project and deliverables on track. It’s something that our clients always rave about. Saying that we can be flexible if your project doesn’t fit the existing process. Check out our simple process that will seamlessly guide you through your design project.
YOUR BRAND IDENTITY AND WEBSITE IN 5 SIMPLE STEPS
1 | CONNECT
You get in touch, read through this page and then book your 30-minute complimentary discovery call. In the call, we will talk about your requirements and I will answer any remaining queries.
2 | CONSULT
Once you have booked in, I will set you up on Asana, the project management tool I use. It will keep everything on track. You’ll need to complete a pre-design strategy questionnaire to help me understand your requirements fully. We will then have a strategy call, via Zoom, to discuss everything.
3 | BRAND IDENTITY DESIGN
Now is the time for KSD to get creative. If you’re having brand work done, I start with creating a moodboard. This will direct the path your branding takes. Once this is signed off work begins on creating your brand concept. I will create one for you. With the use of colour, typography, photography and values I will bring your brand to life in a brand presentation that will include logos, colour use, fonts, and collateral pieces, where you’ll be able to visualise how it all fits together. Over two revision rounds, we will refine and perfect your brand identity. Then I will move to your website if you’ve booked that service.
4 | WEBSITE DESIGN
Our sights turn to your website. I’ll take everything we have created in your brand identity, or use your existing brand identity, and translate that into your website. I will showcase the design, walk you through the user journey and explain my design decisions. Again, you have two revision rounds, once signed off I will perfect the site ready for build!
5 | Launch
Once ready to launch, I’ll hand over all of your brand files along with your bespoke brand style guide. I will also connect the domain (if required) and provide you with post-launch support to ensure you can maintain your new website.

I will set you up on Asana - a project management tool, use Zoom for meetings and presentations and share work on Google Drive. We will have regular contact during your project meaning that you’ll have plenty of opportunities to provide feedback.

Websites designed with Squarespace are beautiful, they’re also affordable, user friendly, easy to maintain, and flexible. Squarespace is also tablet and mobile-friendly, straightforward to set up and offers a custom domain and google email integration. If you already have a domain, I can incorporate that for you. KSD is also a Squarespace Circle Member meaning you can access a discounted first year and other benefits.

For existing clients, I can add on other website design services such as more pages, landing pages, blog, shop and members area. On the branding side I can also support with PPT, social media graphics, adverts, brochures, letterheads, business cards, lead magnets, and event collateral. Just let me know what you need when we have our discovery call.

If a website project I will require the text copy – including headers and buttons clearly identified. I will also need relevant brand graphics and photography if you wish to use this - you should supply graphic files in an editable, vector digital format and photographs in a high-resolution digital format. If you choose to buy stock photographs, we can suggest stock libraries. If you’d like KSD to search for photographs for you, I can provide a separate estimate for that. I can also recommend copywriters and photographer associates if you require. I also require your commitment to the timeline of the project and to provide feedback within the project schedule.

Once the contract has been signed, you'll need to pay a 40% non-refundable deposit to secure your spot in my schedule. Then 50% is due at the start of the project and the final 10% due when the project is complete, but before the final files are handed over.

Squarespace is the chosen Content Management System which is used to build your website. Squarespace pricing and billing are not included in your payment schedule. You are responsible for choosing your own plan and maintaining the payments; however, advice and consultation will be provided.

No. You can buy your domain directly through Squarespace. However, if you already have a domain somewhere else (like GoDaddy), then don't worry, I'll just redirect your domain to your Squarespace website.
