Jessica had built an impressive content library over the years - blog articles, podcasts, YouTube videos, and free resources – but her existing website couldn't effectively showcase this wealth of knowledge. With multiple programmes, extensive collections of supporting materials and various entry points for different client needs, the site had become complex and cluttered.

Valuable content was getting buried, the user journey was unclear and Jessica needed to transition from her existing domain to the new Deeper Foundations brand while maintaining valuable SEO.

Strategic planning for complex content

KSD led with comprehensive wireframing, creating detailed plans that map out every page, content category and user journey before any visual design began. This process allowed Jessica to see exactly how her content would be structured and accessed without getting distracted by colours or fonts. Through two rounds of revisions, we created a clear structure and information architecture that guides users seamlessly through programmes and resources without overwhelming them.

Managing the moving parts

Working alongside Jessica's copywriter and visual brand designer, KSD coordinated this complex project across multiple phases. The complete move from Jessica’s original domain to Deeper Foundations involved handling technical details while protecting her search engine rankings. This meant setting up redirects and importing large amounts of content such as blog posts from the old site to the new site in a swift, streamlined manner.

Creating a smooth user journey

KSD categorised and tagged Jessica's extensive library of articles and resources with clever content blocks that ensure relevant resources appear exactly where potential clients need them most throughout the site. Clear navigation and consistent iconography guide visitors through Programmes and Collections, while individual landing pages showcase investments and details with visual consistency. 

Everything was built as part of a long-term partnership with Jessica's growth in mind. The planned structure included space for upcoming book launches and courses which were added in phase 2.
